For hosts

Set the stage. Bring everyone together.

Create a room

On the Create a room page, sign in — or choose Host Without Account for a no-sign-up option — then give the room a name and your name. You're now the host.

Host without an account

No email, no password. Your temporary room works exactly like a normal one, but it's deleted after the configured lifetime — guests, queue and all.

Share the invite

Show guests the QR code, share the link, or read out the 6-character room code.

Control the queue

Reorder, remove, lock, or skip songs. Locking the queue stops new requests.

Play on the TV

Open the Player in fullscreen — songs auto-play in order for everyone.

Remote control

Hosts signed in with an account can open Remote from the dashboard and control the TV player from their phone — pause, skip, or reorder songs without touching the TV.

For guests

Pick your song. Take your turn.

Join without an account

Scan the QR code or enter the room code, then pick a name — no sign-up needed.

Request a song

Search YouTube from your phone — karaoke versions rank first — and add it to the queue, with an optional dedication.

Control your own song

While your song is playing on the TV, you can remotely play or pause it, restart it from the beginning, or skip to the next song — from your phone, no host needed.

Report a problem →
What is SingARoom?

SingARoom turns any screen into a karaoke stage. A host creates a room, guests join from their own phones, and everyone requests songs that auto-play in order on a big screen. No cables, no juggling the remote — the crowd picks the tune.

Do I need an account to use SingARoom?

Guests never need an account — they just scan the QR code or enter the room code and pick a name. Hosts have two options: sign in so your room stays saved and reusable, or host without an account for a temporary room that's deleted after the configured lifetime. There's no difference from a guest's point of view.

Can I host without an account?

Yes. On the Create a room page, choose Host Without Account and enter your name and a room name — no email or password. Your device keeps a host credential, so you can reopen the host dashboard again while the room is active.

What's the difference between hosting with and without an account?

With an account your room is saved forever — reopen it any day and guests use the same code. Without an account the room is temporary: it lives for the number of minutes the site has configured, then it's permanently deleted. Temporary rooms also have their own guest and queue limits, and you can only create a limited number per device per hour to prevent abuse.

What happens to a temporary room when time runs out?

When it expires, the room and everything in it — guests, queued songs, dedications and reaction tallies — are automatically deleted. It can't be recovered, so anything you want to keep (like a favourite song) must be saved before it expires.

What happens when I end a temporary room?

Ending a temporary room deletes it right away, along with all of its data — guests, queue and reactions. Make sure you're done before you end it. For account rooms, ending clears the queue and guests but the room stays saved to your account.

Can I come back to a temporary room I created?

Yes, while it's still active. Your device keeps the host credential, so reopen the room link or enter the code and you'll be back in as host. Once it expires the room is gone for good, so you'll want to start a new one.

How do guests join my room?

Open your room and share the QR code, the invite link, or the 6-character room code. Guests enter it on the Join page, choose a name, and they're in. Everything updates live for everyone.

How do guests add a song?

From their phone, guests tap the Search tab, type an artist or song title, and press add. YouTube results show instantly — karaoke versions are ranked first — and the request drops straight into the live queue. After adding, tap Dedicate on your song in the queue to add an optional dedication.

What are dedications?

After adding a song, tap Dedicate on your own song in the queue and enter a name. You can edit it later or clear it. While the song plays, the dedication appears on the TV.

What do the recent songs on my phone do?

On the guest search page, an empty search box shows a short list of recent songs people have queued in the room (from the search history), so you can quickly re-add a favourite instead of typing the whole title. It appears on phones; on bigger screens you just start typing.

How does the queue work?

The queue is shared and live. Each request is a line: guests add songs in order, the host can reorder or remove entries, and the player auto-advances to the next song when one finishes. When a guest removes their own song, it disappears from every screen instantly. Hosts can also lock the queue to stop new requests.

How do I play songs on the TV?

As a host, open the Player (TV mode) on any screen and keep it fullscreen. Songs auto-play in queue order with a countdown between them. Guests watch the same thing on their phones.

What are reactions?

While a song is playing, guests can tap the emoji bar on their phone — 🔥, 🎤, 👏, 💃, 🕺, ❤️ or the superhero — and the emoji floats across the TV in real time. The reaction bar appears on phones only when there's a song queued or playing.

What is the 'greatest hits' screen?

When the queue runs dry, the TV shows a recap of the most-reacted songs of the night, ranked by the reactions they got, with the singer's name next to each one. Add a song and the party picks right back up.

What can a host control?

Hosts can rename the room, manage guests, reorder and remove songs, skip the current track, lock the queue, open the TV player, and end the room. Ending clears the queue and guests; on an account room it stays saved to your account, while a temporary room is deleted entirely.

What can host remote controls do?

Open Remote from the dashboard and your phone becomes a control for the TV player — pause and play, skip to the next song, toggle fullscreen, and reorder or remove queued songs. It's a live, account-only feature: it works for hosts signed in with an account, so temporary hosts without an account use the in-room controls instead.

Can I control the player while my song is on?

Yes — when the song currently playing on the TV is yours, a small control bar appears on your phone with Play/Pause, Restart and Skip. You can start the music again, restart the track from the beginning, or skip to the next song. It only shows for your own performance: the moment a different song starts (or yours ends), the controls disappear and you're back to watching.

Are there any limits?

Free rooms allow a limited number of guests, queued songs, and bookmarks. Upgrading raises those limits. Temporary rooms have their own guest and queue limits set by the site, and a limit on how many you can create per device per hour. The current plan is shown on your Profile page.

Can I reuse a room another day?

Yes, if you hosted with an account. Your room stays saved to your account — reopen it from the Dashboard or the Room link in the header, and guests just join again with the same code. Temporary (no-account) rooms are deleted when they expire and can't be reused.

What do bookmarks do?

Bookmarks save a song to your account so you can find it again later and request it again with one tap. Only signed-in users can bookmark songs — guests who join without an account don't have bookmarks, so the bookmark option only shows when you're logged in.

Something's not working — what do I do?

Use the Report a problem link in the footer to tell us what happened. If a song won't play, the host can skip it from the queue.
